#

Many of us will now use our mobile devices to watch TV content on the go via the various applications that are currently available to users. One of the most popular is the BBC iPlayer app which has just seen a nice update for the Android version of the service.

Now most Android users have the ability to download content to their mobile device thanks to a recent update to the application, as it now supports all smartphones and tablets that are running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich or later.

This according to the company now covers 96 percent of Android users that can now download content to their device so it can be watched when there is no Wi-Fi connection, or if they don’t fancy using up their data allowance.

The company has warned that not all devices will work as they should with the updated BBC iPlayer app, but it stated that if they are made aware of any major issues affecting a particular device they have the option of disabling the feature for a certain model or version of the operating system so they can look at the problem and possibly provide a fix.

Hit Google Play If you now want to download the BBC iPlayer app following this news.
