Galaxy Note 2 Android 4.4 update starts S3 jealousy
While thoughts have been turning to this year’s Note smartphone there are still lots of users that own the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, and now there is news that the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update starts its journey with some S3 jealousy.
It is being reported that the Android 4.4.2 update has started to arrive for the international version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, and the new firmware has the build number of N7100XXUFND3. Of course this will start arriving in a staggered fashion and will bring a number of changes that include a smoother faster performance from the handset.
The firmware has a build date of April 8th but this news will bring some jealousy from owners of the international version of the Galaxy S3, which like the Note 2 came out in 2012 but only has 1GB of RAM and as we reported recently may not get the update due to problems with the Knox Security Suite.
At the time of writing the update has only been seen in France but expect it to rollout to other regions in the coming days and weeks.
Have you got the update yet?
