HTC One M8 Ace could rival Galaxy S5 on specs
There’s some interesting news today about a rumored plastic version of the flagship HTC One M8. It seems this could be dubbed the HTC One M8 Ace or the HTC M8 Ace, and if early reports are anything to go by it could rival the Samsung Galaxy S5 on specs as well as being cheaper.
Regular Phones Review readers may recall that we first heard speculation about an HTC One M8 plastic version earlier this month. A report from overseas said that it could release as early as May and suggested the device would have the same design as the premium One M8 but in plastic instead. Since then a leaked image has also come to light (shown here) from prolific leaker @evleaks.
Now Engadget reports on a “reliable source” that has informed them about the M8 Ace and said that the specs will be virtually the same as for the newly released Galaxy S5. Specs are said to include a 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor and 5-inch Full HD display, and worryingly perhaps for Samsung it’s said that the M8 Ace phone will be “much more affordable.”
We’re itching to hear more about this and will keep readers informed on further developments, but in the meantime we’d like to hear your opinions. Do you like the sound of the HTC One M8 Ace?
