Nokia XL availability in IMEA and APAC regions begins today
We’ve been bringing readers news on the Nokia X, XL and X+ since they were all officially introduced at MWC back in February. Although the Nokia X was available almost immediately, the XL was scheduled for a release at some point in Q2. Now we’re glad to inform you that Nokia XL availability in IMEA and APAC regions is beginning today.
The Nokia X has been extremely popular and the XL is likely to follow in its footsteps and will appeal to many as it has a larger 5-inch display. Yesterday we shared a video showing the Nokia XL with some initial thoughts, so you might want to check that out to get a good look at the device.
News of the dual SIM XL’s imminent availability for IMEA (India, Middle East and Africa) and APAC (Asia-Pacific) comes from the official Nokia blog itself, so even if it hasn’t immediately released in your part of the world it could be available very soon. NDTV Gadgets reports that the phone hasn’t yet hit the market in India and Nokia India says that more info about availability and price is coming soon.
Nokia states that the phone will start arriving from today in IMEA and APAC with a price of around €109 or Rs. 9,100 before local taxes and subsidies. We’ll be keeping a close eye on availability of the Nokia XL smartphone and will keep you informed.
