Yet another two smartphones have just arrived on sale in India. These are entry-level handsets for the affordable end of the market, and we have iBall Andi4 IPS Velvet and IPS Gem specs and price for India information.

Starting with the Andi4 IPS Velvet, this is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core processor, has a 4-inch IPS display with resolution of 800 x 480, 256MB of RAM, and 2GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD to 32GB). It has a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, a front-facing camera, and a 1300 mAh battery and it runs the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system.

The IPS Velvet also has a 3.5mm audio jack and FM radio and connectivity options include 2G (EDGE), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and aGPS. This dual SIM (GSM + GSM) phone is available at Flipkart now at a price of Rs. 4,098 rather than the MRP of Rs. 5,199.

Moving on to the iBall Andi4 IPS Gem (pictured here), which has a 1.3GHz dual-core processor, 4-inch IPS display with resolution of 800 x 480, 256MB of RAM, and 2GB of internal storage (expandable to 32GB). The dual SIM (GSM + GSM) IPS Gem has FM radio and 3.5mm audio jack, and this time connectivity includes 3G (HSPA+), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. The Andi4 IPS Gem is available from eBay.in at a price of Rs. 4,999 rather than the MRP of Rs. 5,699.
