It’s always good to bring news of operating systems and two months ago we informed readers that the Android 4.4 KitKat update was starting to roll out in South Korea for the LG Optimus G Pro. That update is slowly reaching more consumers and now the LG Optimus G Pro Android 4.4 update for AT&T has arrived.
AT&T announced yesterday that the Android 4.4.2 update was starting to roll out for the Optimus G Pro, although it’s worth noting that these updates are usually pushed out over the course of a few days so a little patience may be required. Customers will receive notification of the over-the-air (OTA) update but if you want to check manually you can head to Settings followed by General Tab then About Phone followed by Software Updates.
The update is between 700 and 800MB in size and you can find full instructions for updating along with details on what’s changing at AT&T here. Are you pleased to see the Android 4.4 update finally rolling out for the LG Optimus G Pro on AT&T?
