It is always nice having the opportunity to purchase a smartphone at a more affordable price that still has some worthy specifications and features, and now the Lava Iris X1 has been launched officially for India with some freebies.
Earlier this month the Lava Iris X1 appeared on the company’s website but there weren’t a lot of details available, but now the handset has been officially launched. The Lava Iris X1 is priced at Rs. 7,999 and will be available for purchase from tomorrow via Amazon exclusively.
For your money you will get a device with a 4.5-inch display at a resolution of 854 x 480 which is powered by a 1.2GHz quad core processor with 1GB of RAM, and running the Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system.
There is dual SIM support while on the back we have an 8MP rear camera with dual LED flash, and around the front is a 2MP front facer. There is 4GB of internal storage that is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card, and connectivity comes in the form of 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, and GPS.
While there is a 1,800 mAh battery keeping everything switched on and the device will be available in black and white colour options, and for those ordering the device tomorrow will be treated to a free 16GB Ultra microSD card.
