It was back in April that we first informed readers that the Android 4.4 KitKat update was finally starting to roll out. These updates always take time to reach various regions and different carriers across the world, but now the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Android 4.4 update has arrived on Sprint.
The Android 4.4.2 update arrives for customers of the US carrier beginning today, which makes Sprint the first of the major US carriers to push out this update for the Galaxy Note 2. It brings the software to version L900VPUBNE2, and the update offers many new features and improvements for the device.
Sprint customers will see the update roll out over the next couple of weeks and should receive notification. However, if you don’t want to wait you can always try checking manually on your Note 2 by heading to Settings followed by General, About Phone, and finally Software updates.
You might want to view a recent video comparison showing the Galaxy Note 2 on Android 4.4 against the Galaxy S3 on 4.3. We’d be interested to hear from any Sprint customers who have the Samsung Galaxy Note 2. Once you receive the Android 4.4.2 update let us know what you think of the many enhancements it brings by dropping us a comment.
