We have recently reviewed the Alcatel OneTouch idol mini and the Alcatel idol S, but it has been announced today that the Alcatel OneTouch Pop C1 is being launched in the UK. The handset is going to be available in Argos stores across the country for only £69.99 this week.

For your money you will get an Android smartphone with a 3.5-inch HVGA display which is powered by a dual core processor clocked at 1GHz, which is paired with 512MB of RAM running the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system.

The handset has 4GB of internal storage that is expandable by up to 32GB via microSD card, while there is a 2-megapixel rear camera. We will be having the Alcatel OneTouch Pop C1 in for a review in the coming weeks if you are thinking of purchasing a more affordable Android smartphone.
