Some people are still firmly on the fence regarding whether this kind of wearable technology is a passing fad or something that will well and truly take off, so it will be interesting to see how the G Watch fares against rivals in this field such as the Samsung Gear devices. Now let’s get down to the LG G Watch specs.
These include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, a 1.65-inch IPS LCD display with resolution of 280 x 280, 512MB of RAM, and 4GB of internal storage. It has a 400 mAh battery, Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity, gyro / accelerometer / compass 9-axis sensors,
and IP67 certification standard for water and dust resistance.
As far as dimensions are concerned it measures 37.9mm x 46.5mm x 9.95mm and weighs in at 63g. Color options are Black Titan or White Gold and users can personalize the device by using other standard 22m straps that are already available. The LG G Watch is already up for sale at the Google Play Store (at source link below) where it’s priced at $229 / £159.
At Google Play US the details say that it will ship on July 3rd while at the UK Google Play Store it says that the G Watch will leave the warehouse by July 4th.
