The Android platform has been treated to a rather tasty new addition to the top end of the smartphone market recently in the form of the LG G3, and the handset is slowly making its way around the world as today we have news of a release date for Canada.
It has been announced today that consumers in Canada can get hold of the LG G3 from August 1st via a number of the country’s carriers, and the smartphone will also be available from a variety of retailers.
These include Tbooth, The Source, Wireless Wave, Wireless Etc., and Wow Mobile while the LG G3 has been optimized for the Canadian market supporting LTW on AWS as well as 2600 and 700 MHz.
Many eager consumers will be looking to get their hands on that 5.5-inch QHD resolution display, which is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor and 3GB of RAM running the Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system.
There is also a 13-megapixel rear camera with OIS+ technology and fast focussing thanks to the handsets built in laser supported by a dual LED flash, and around the front is a 2.1-megapixel shooter.
