Back in April we gave news about the Asus Zenfone 5 and 6 arriving for some regions, and at that time we only had pricing for Singapore and Indonesia. Now the Asus Zenfone 6 and 5 have officially launched for India and we have specs details and prices for both coming right up.
We’ll start with the premium offering (pictured below), which is the Asus Zenfone 6. This has a price tag of Rs. 16,999 and comes in Charcoal Black, Champagne Gold, Cherry Red, and Pearl White color options. Specs include a 2GHz Intel Atom Z2580 dual-core processor, PowerVR SGX 544 MP2 graphics, a 6-inch display with resolution of 1280 x 720, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage, expandable to 64GB via micro SD. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, and 3300 mAh battery, and connectivity includes 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
Now we’ll move on to the Asus Zenfone 5 priced at Rs. 9,999 for the 8GB model and Rs. 13,999 for the 16GB variant. It comes in Charcoal Black, Champagne Gold, Twilight Purple, Cherry Red and Pearl White color choices. This phone is powered by a 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z2560 dual-core processor, with a 5-inch display with resolution of 1280 x 720, and 1GB of RAM. This dual SIM phone has an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, and 2110 mAh battery. Connectivity includes 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS, and it’s 10.34mm thick weighing in at 145g.
