The Asus ZenFone 5 was made official and released earlier this year, and also recently launched for India. You might be thinking of purchasing this smartphone, and as gaming on mobile devices is an increasingly important factor for many buyers we thought we’d bring you an Asus ZenFone 5 gaming review.
The ZenFone 5 is powered by a 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z2560 dual-core processor with PowerVR SGX544MP graphics, and has 1GB of RAM. With a high-end flagship device we’d expect a top gaming experience, so it’s always interesting to see how a more mid-range device, such as the ZenFone 5, fares in this respect.
The 10-minute YouTube video that we’ve embedded below for you to view comes from Fone Arena. It shows gameplay on the Zenfone 5 from Asphalt 8, Dead Trigger 2, Subway Surfers, Riptide GP2, and Real Boxing. After each clip you’ll see a score for graphics and also performance. For example, for Riptide GP2 there’s a score of 4/5 stars for graphics and also 4/5 for performance.
At the conclusion of the video you’ll see an overall gaming rating for the ZenFone 5. We don’t want to spoil that for you by telling you here as you’ll enjoy finding out on the gaming review, but it’s fair to say that the phone performs pretty well in this aspect.
