One way that smartphone manufacturers extend the popularity of their devices is to offer them in more colour choices. It’s something we often see and we’ve already seen a Glamour Red model of the HTC One M8 arrive for US carrier Verizon. Now the HTC One M8 in red is coming to a UK network as an O2 exclusive for at least three months.

When the One M8 released it was available in Amber Gold, Gunmetal Grey and Glacial Silver, and O2 currently sells the gold and grey versions. Now the carrier will also be offering the Glamour Red One M8 from August 4th, so there’s not too much longer to wait.

Specs are the same as for the other colours so it’s powered by a 2.3GHz Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor, has Adreno 330 graphics, a 5-inch Full HD display, 2GB of RAM, and internal storage that’s expandable to 128GB via microSD. It has a 4-megapixel duo camera, 5-megapixel front-facer, and 2600 mAh battery, and runs the Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system.
