Last month Sony introduced the Xperia T3 smartphone and the phone has now officially launched for India. It will release there from July 28, so there’s not too much longer to wait before you can get your hands on it. We have details ahead of the Sony Xperia T3 price for India plus specs information.

We’ll start with that all-important price and the Xperia T3 will cost Rs. 27,990, and comes in black, purple or white color options. Sony launched the single SIM model for India but hasn’t clarified if a dual SIM version will arrive at some point.

Now we’ll run through the specs of this mid-range phone. It’s powered by a 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor, has a 5.3-inch HD Triluminos display with resolution of 1280 x 720 and 277 ppi, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of internal storage that’s expandable to 32GB via microSD.

Further Xperia T3 specs include an 8-megapixel rear camera with Sony Exmor RS sensor, autofocus and LED flash, with features including HDR, sweep Panorama, red-eye reduction, scene detection, face recognition and geo tagging. It also has a 1.1-megapixel front-facing unit.

The phone has a 2500 mAh battery offering around 13 hours of talk time, and it runs the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system. Connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS, GPRS, EDGE, DLNA, NFC and microUSB. It weighs 148g and is very slim at 7mm thick.
