In the next few days it seems highly likely that Samsung are about to announce a new smartphone that could be aimed at taking on the iPhone 6 release and now a major online retailer has put up the Samsung Galaxy Alpha price briefly in a listing.
Last month we first heard news about the handset with confirmation from a reliable source close to a big player in the UK retail market, and now another retailer Mobile Fun has briefly listed the handset for pre-order.
The Samsung Galaxy Alpha is priced at £549 for the SIM free 32GB black version of the handset, and images of a white version have also emerged. Specs for the device are listed as a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED 720p display with 320ppi pixel density. On the back of the device is a 12-megapixel camera with fast autofocus.
Other specs listed include a fingerprint scanner, Octa core Exynos processor, 2.1-megapixel camera, and the Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system. Recently a report was claiming that the device will be officially launched next week, so we don’t have too long to wait to see what the Samsung Galaxy Alpha has to offer.
