It was exactly one week ago that we informed our readers in India that the Oppo N1 mini would soon launch there. At that time we had no price details of this mid-range handset and felt this would be an important factor in its success (or not). Now we have details of the official Oppo N1 mini price and availability for India.
We’ll start with the price, which has been officially announced at Rs. 26,990. It will be available in light blue or white colors from this week, and also in a yellow color option at some point next month, offering something a little different.
Oppo N1 mini specs include a 1.6GHz Snapdragon 400 processor, Adreno 305 graphics, a 5-inch IPS display with resolution of 1280 x 720, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage. It has a 13-megapixel camera with a unique rotating feature and Sony IMX214 stacked sensor, 6 element lens, f/2.0 aperture and LED flash.
Connectivity is catered for with 3G support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS, and it packs a 2140 mAh battery. The phone runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean skinned with Color OS 1.4 and measures 9.2mm thick, weighing in at 150g.
It’s worth noting that the O-Click remote control for the camera shutter comes free with the standard N1, but if you want it for the N1 mini you’ll need to find Rs. 1,890 to purchase it separately. Are you pleased to hear that the Oppo N1 mini has now officially launched for India? What are your thoughts on the pricing of this smartphone?
