The IUNI U3 offers up a 5.5-inch QHD display for $320
The OnePlus One dubbed itself a “Flagship Killer” when it hit the streets, and it looks like another company is coming to steal their thunder. The IUNI U3 is the name of the new handset, and it’s bringing a QHD display and stellar specs to the table for the low price of $320.
The IUNI U3 is a metal-clad smartphone with a 5.5-inch QHD display. Under the hood resides a quad-core Snapdragon 801 SoC, 32GB of storage and 3GB of RAM. You can kick the storage up with the microSD slot, and a 3000mAh battery will keep the juice flowing to the U3.The rear camera of the IUNI U3 is a 13MP snapper while the front-facing cam clocks in at 4MP.
It’s also a dual-SIM LTE smartphone, and you can look forward to running Android KitKat 4.4 out of the box. The specs are impressive, but even more so when you consider the IUNI U3 is priced at 1999 CNY, which comes out to around $324 in US greenbacks. It’s cheap and could certainly be called a “OnePlus” killer.
At this time, there has been no mention of a global rollout, but the smartphone will get an English-based ROM so it will eventually make its way to other regions. The IUNI U3 will arrive in China sometime next month in Black, Green and White. Stay tuned, and we’ll keep you in the loop on the IUNI U3’s availability as we learn more.
