PSN status takes app down
Is PSN down for you right now? The PlayStation Network status page reveals a service that is apparently, “Intermittently available”, although those of you trying to sign in on the iPhone app will be wondering why it continually won’t work. The same can be said for PS3 and PS4 systems, which Twitter users explain won’t sign in thanks to PSN being down today.
This is the first time we’ve heard about PSN going down in September 2014, although last month we reported about the PlayStation app not working on both Android and iPhone. The first problems were due to hackers, but the second time PSN apps went down last month was due to planned maintenance.
It’s clear the problems today are being felt around the world and we’ve heard from PlayStation app and consoles users in Newcastle, London, and Broadstairs in Kent. Also, we’ve heard from one work colleague in New York not being able to sign in to PSN through the iOS app.
#psn down again bloody hell

Let us know in the comments if you are having problems with PSN today? Are the apps not working for you and is this due to sign in errors?
@GameOverGreggy seems like psn might be down. Was able to buy it via mobile app, but can't get back in to start download

We have also heard about some apps working if you are already signed in, which can be seen within the tweet above. There’s a number of error codes being given in both apps and when trying to sign in through consoles. Two of these codes in NP-35000-8 and NW-31201-7.
