Micromax was set to unveil a new handset for India today, and they’ve done just that with the Canvas Nitro A 310. If you think it’s yet another mid-range handset from the company, you may be surprised by the Micromax Canvas Nitro A 310 specs. It isn’t your typical budget handset.
The Micromax Canvas Nitro A 310 is a bit beefier than the usual models we cover from the company, and the specs are bringing it closer to flagship status. The Nitro A 310 features a 5-inch 720p display with a speedy 1.7Ghz octa-core MediaTek chip. You’ll get 2GB of RAM, 8B of expandable storage, and a 2,500mAh removable battery will provide the juice.
The cameras on the Micromax Canvas Nitro A 310 are quite nice as there’s a 13MP camera on the back and a 5MP front-facing camera. It’s not a 4G handset, but it can handle 3G and comes with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and all the usual sensors. Last but not least is the OS, and it’s KitKat 4.4 straight out of the box. One would assume it will receive Android L as well.
The Micromax Canvas Nitro A 310 price is Rs. 12,990 in India and that price point makes it an interesting option for those in the market for a budget handset with some power under the hood. Will you pick up the Canvas Nitro A 310 or do you already have another mid-ranger in mind?
