The Sony Xperia E3 smartphone was made official this month alongside other devices such as the flagship Xperia Z3 and Z3 Compact. The E3 is a mid-range device and is likely to appeal to plenty of buyers in the Indian market. Now the Xperia E3 and E3 Dual prices have been announced at the India launch.
The single SIM and dual SIM versions of the E3 both go on sale across India today priced at Rs. 11,990 and Rs. 12,990 respectively. The single SIM model is available in black or white color options while the dual SIM E3 is available in black, lime or white.
Specs for both variants include a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor, Adreno 305 graphics, and a 4.5-inch display with resolution of 854 x 480. It has 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD to 32GB), a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 1080p video capture, and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing snapper.
Connectivity is covered with 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and Bluetooth 4.0, and the phone has a 2330 mAh battery and runs the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system. There’s a 3.5m audio jack and FM radio with RDS, and the phone is 8.5mm thick, weighing in at 144g.
