The phone will be up for grabs at retailers across India from today and the all-important MRP price is Rs. 44,990, although it can be found at a cheaper price according to retailer. That’s at the expensive end of the market so we’ll give you a reminder of what you’ll get with the Z3 Compact in the way of specs and features.
Xperia Z3 specs include a 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor, Adreno 330 graphics, a 4.6-inch display with resolution of 1280 x 720, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage that’s expandable via microSD to 128GB. It has a 20.7-megapixel rear camera with Exmor RS sensor and 4K video capture, a 2.2-megapixel front-facing camera with 1080p video capture, and 2600 mAh battery.
Connectivity options include 3G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 820.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC, and it runs the Android 4.4.4 KitKat operating system with the X-Reality Engine. The phone has dual stereo front-facing speakers and is dust and water-resistant to IP65/68 certification standard. It has a 3.5mm audio jack, is 86.mm thick and weighs in at just 129g.
Color options are black, green, orange, and white, and the phone also features PS4 Remote Play that enables users to use the handset as a remote screen to connect and control PS4 games.
