Xolo A500 Club, Q900S, Q1200 Android 4.4 beta update
Many device users look forward to operating system refreshes, and Xolo has been steadily making Android KitKat updates for various smartphones available over the last few months. Now the company has released the Xolo A500 Club, Xolo Q900S and Xolo Q1200 Android 4.4 update as a beta version.
All of these handsets have released this year and were launched running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, so the update to KitKat will bring notable improvements and new features. Just a few of the KitKat benefits are revamped navigation and status bars, new look camera UI, printing support, new app for email, immersive mode, color emojis, improved phone dialer, and the usual performance optimizations.
Further enhancements for the Xolo handsets include new camera features such as Panorama + multi view, Live photo mode, and burst shot. The beta updates for KitKat for the A500 Club, Q900S and Q1200 can be downloaded from Xolo’s official site here. To check out full instructions for installing the update head here.
As this is a beta version you’ll need to load the file to your smartphone manually. Alternatively, some may prefer to wait for the final version, which will then be available as an OTA (over-the-air) update.
Are you pleased to hear that you will now be able to get a taste of Android 4.4 KitKat for the Xolo A500 Club, Q900S and Q1200? Let us know if the update to the beta version went smoothly for you, and what you think of the changes that KitKat brings to your smartphone?
