Galaxy Core Prime specs include a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, a 4.5-inch PLS LCD display with WVGA resolution of 800 x 480, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of internal storage that’s expandable via microSD to 64GB. The handset is 8.8mm thick and several models have already passed through the TENAA certification process. SM-G306, G3608 and G3609 are all dual SIM devices with TD-LTE connectivity. Two of these are equipped with international LTE. The phone has also been spotted on the Flipkart India site, which has already put up a product page for the phone, although this one is single SIM and doesn’t show as LTE. However, as it’s an early placement details could be changed.
Flipkart also shows a price for India of Rs. 8,499, and that equates to around $137, €110 or £86, although prices are likely to vary according to region. A release date isn’t shown just yet but as we now know so much about the phone, availability is likely to arrive soon.
