We always try to bring readers news of operating system updates for tablets and smartphones, and today it’s the turn of those who have the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1. Although it’s not officially available everywhere yet, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Android 4.4.4 update has arrived for some.
It took a while for Android KitKat to appear for the Note 10.1 but the 4.4.4 update has been somewhat timelier. It has just begun rolling out in China and South Korea, so it shouldn’t be too much longer until it’s also ready for the international model. However, you may need to be a little patient as these kinds of updates can take varying amounts of time to arrive for all regions and carriers.
In China Android 4.4.4 KitKat has started being pushed out for the LTE model of the Galaxy Note 10.1 with model number SHW-E320S. In Samsung’s home country of South Korea Android 4.4.4 has arrived for the WiFi and 3G models, numbers SHW-M480W and SHW-M480K respectively.
Android 4.4.4 is an incremental update that mainly contains security patches and bug fixes. When it arrives for further regions it will be available as an OTA (over-the-air-update) or via Kies. We always recommend waiting for the official rollout to arrive for your region or carrier, but if you want to manually download the full firmware you can do so at the source link below.
