Samsung Galaxy Ace 4 UK release date confirmed
Back in June Samsung officially introduced the Galaxy Ace 4 low-end smartphone. It’s taken a while to arrive but now the Samsung Galaxy Ace 4 release date for the UK has been confirmed. We have details on availability and specs coming right up.
Although this is an entry-level handset the Galaxy Ace 4 does have the benefit of 4G LTE connectivity. Samsung stores in the UK as well as certain high street retailers such as EE will have availability of the phone from October 17th, but the company hasn’t yet announced the Ace 4 price. Previously Samsung also said that O2 would be offering the phone.
Galaxy Ace 4 specs are nothing to write home about but as an affordable smartphone we wouldn’t expect anything else. It’s powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, has a 4.3-inch display with resolution of 800 x 480, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of internal storage that’s expandable via microSD to 64GB. Further specs include a 5-megapixel rear camera, a VGA front-facing camera, and 1900 mAh battery, and it will be running the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system.
Colour options are Iris Charcoal or Classic White. This new Samsung phone is a very different kettle of fish to the flagship Galaxy S5 and upcoming Galaxy Note 4, but should still find plenty of buyers among those who don’t need a phone with all the bells and whistles.
Are you a potential buyer of the Samsung Galaxy Ace 4? What is it about this phone that appeals to you, considering the vast amount of handsets available on the market. Let us have your comments on this.
