Although many of us are still waiting hopefully for an iOS 8.0.3 fix for various iOS 8.0.2 problems, last week we told how Apple had seeded iOS 8.1 beta 2 to developers. As is customary we usually like to bring you one of the first looks at a new iOS beta. Today we have an iOS 8.1 beta 2 video to share, but sadly it shows nothing new.
Below this post we’ve embedded a YouTube video from iUpdateOS entitled iOS 8.1 beta 2 — What’s New? Usually when we show these kinds of videos we like to run through some of the new features and improvements on offer, or at least some stability and bug fixes. However, in this case you’ll hear the reviewer say that there really isn’t anything noticeable.
It would be wrong to say the update doesn’t include any changes at all, as obviously Apple wouldn’t have issued a new beta if that were the case. However, as far as changes that can be shown are concerned, it appears that nobody has noticed anything significant with UI differences and they don’t seem to exist, so any changes are likely to be under-the-hood.
Take a look for yourself in the video below this story, as we found it quite interesting that there was nothing to discuss! However, the reviewer previously made an iOS 8.1 beta 1 changes YouTube video and so we’ve also embedded that below, as that did include some differences worth talking about.
If you’re a developer have you noticed anything new in iOS 8.1 beta 2 that has been missed? If you’re an iOS device user would you rather Apple focused on pushing out an iOS 8.0.3 update with problem fixes? Let us have your comments.
