Huawei Honor 6 Extreme Edition specs and price have been revealed
When Android first started becoming popular, Samsung, HTC, Motorola, and Sony were the names to watch for the most part. They still are, but companies like Huawei are making a dent due to low priced devices and top-tier specs. Today Huawei unveiled its latest handset, and we learned the Huawei Honor 6 Extreme Edition specs and price.
The Huawei Honor 6 Extreme Edition specs show a flagship can go toe-to-toe with anything out there in terms of specs. The handset will pack a 2.0GHz octa-core Kirin 928 over the 920 found in the regular edition, it’s faster, and it should absolutely fly with 3GB of RAM Huawei dropped in. A Mali T628MP4 will handle the graphics, and you’ll get 32GB of internal storage that can be kicked up to 128GB via the microSD slot.
While the Honor 6 Extreme Edition has plenty of horsepower, the “extras” aren’t half bad either. It sports a 13MP/5MP camera combo, and the Kirin 928 SoC allows for LTE-A Cat. 6 which means you can get up to 300Mbps on downloads if you live in an area has it. The rest of the Huawei Honor 6 Extreme Edition specs include a 5-inch 1080p display, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, MHL, a 3,100mAh battery, and Android KitKat 4.4.
The Huawei Honor 6 Extreme Edition specs are quite nice, but so is the price as it’s expected to cost 2,999 yuan which is around $489 bucks. The company will also offer up some “extreme” accessories for the device as well including a tempered glass screen protector, NFC tags, and headphones.
