Many consumers are getting to know the iPhone 6 while others are still considering purchasing the smartphone. Benchmarks can be a good indicator of how a phone performs, and many people like to see benchmarking test scores before they buy. Today we have a an iPhone 6 benchmarks roundup and of course results.
We’ve already seen the odd benchmark tests for the iPhone 6, but below this story we’ve embedded a YouTube video from Fone Arena that shows a good variety of testing. Before you view it we’ll remind you that the iPhone 6 has a 1.4GHz Apple A8 dual-core processor, PowerVR GX6450 quad-core graphics, and 1GB of RAM.
The video shows the various tests being conducted on the iPhone 6, and the different benchmarks shown are AnTuTu 5, Basemark X 1.1, Basemark X OS II, GeekBench 3, GFX Bench, and finally 3D Mark. At the end of each test you’ll see the score for the iPhone 6 and also for comparison some scores for other iOS devices such as the iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 5S and 5.
We won’t give all the individual scores here, but we’re not giving too much away by saying the results for the iPhone 6 improve upon the earlier iPhone models. However, the scores are not as high as for the larger iPhone 6 Plus. You can see the differences in performance when you view the video below. You might also like to see more on the iPhone 6 here.
