If you’ve been pondering about buying the Motorola Moto X (2014) then this could be the right time to do something about it. For just a few days there’s a new Moto X 2014 price slash at Verizon, but because of the limited time for the promo you might want to be quick.
If you’re still undecided as to whether the new Moto X is a good choice for you, it might be worth checking out our Moto X 2nd gen review collection for some different takes on the smartphone. When it launched on Verizon it was priced at $99.99 on a two-year contract, but the price of the 16GB Moto X on Big Red has now dropped to just $49.99 on contract.
The $49.99 promo price is good until October 20 at 11:59pm ET, when presumably it will go back to $99.99 on contract. If you head to this Motorola product page you’ll see the new price on Verizon, whereas the price on AT&T with a two-year contract is still $99.99. Therefore this is a great deal, and buyers are still able to customize the device with Moto Maker.
Moto X specs for the newest model include a 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor, 5.2-inch Full HD display, 2GB of RAM, 13-megapixel rear camera, and 2300 mAh battery, so it has plenty to offer. It runs the Android 4.4.4 KitKat operating system that will be upgradable to Android 5.0 Lollipop.
