Nexus 6 vs LG G3, benefits laid bare
The Motorola-made Google Nexus 6 was made official last week and will release next month. The smartphone will be running the new Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system version and has a much larger display than previous Nexus handsets, putting it firmly in phablet territory. With this in mind we have a video to share that shows the Nexus 6 vs. LG G3 and the benefits made clear.
You can see more on specs and price for the Nexus 6 in our launch post on the phone and we’ve already shared a concise video comparison of the Nexus 6 vs. Samsung Galaxy Note 4. Now it’s time to turn our attention to LG’s flagship phablet, the G3. Below this article we’ve embedded a YouTube video from TotalTechWar comparing the Nexus 6 and LG G3.
This video comparison focuses solely on the advantages of each over the other rather than being a long-winded affair, and it will help you to work out which could be the best for your needs by concentrating on the aspects most important to you in a phone. It begins with showing the advantages of the LG G3 over the Nexus 6. A handful of these are the fact that it’s 23% lighter, has FM radio, and has a removable battery.
The comparison continues by showing the stronger points of the Nexus 6 over the LG G3. Some of these are stereo speakers, the metal frame, and direct Android updates because it’s a Google Nexus device. We don’t want to give you all of the details here as you can find out when you watch the video, but at the conclusion of it you’ll see all of the various advantages for each device shown side-by-side for easy comparison.
When you’ve checked out the video beneath this post it would be interesting to hear your views on these two Android phablets. Will you opt for the LG G3 that released back in June or wait for the upcoming Motorola Nexus 6?

I am happy with my lg g3.nexus6 looks to be a mammoth phone with heavy weight.lg g3 is light weight and 5.5 inch screen is good enough.its easy to carry and beautiful.
I’m quite happy with the G3 in size, performance, sound, and features. Everything it does, it does well. And with the removable battery, and additional memory SD card option, those are big needs for me.
I’ll be getting the N6. Because Nexus. It’s the best small tablet in the world at the moment.
I have the G3 and after this comparo I made the right choice. The G3 is bigger than I would optimally like so the N6 is a non starter. Removable batt, external Sd, fast easy excellent camera. My next phone will be smaller, I am not a fan of the phablet, but I wanted 3G RAM, better battery and expandable storage. I think LG hit the right features, now if they could make a smaller version with 1080p but just as fast and at least 3G RAM, that would be perfect. 4X reso is ridiculous for a phone!
