The OnePlus One has had a rocky road in 2014, and it’s been one of the harder phones to get your hands on unless you’ve gotten an invite. Those days are coming to a close as the OnePlus One pre-orders are set to kick off on October 27.
OnePlus One pre-orders have been a long time coming, and on October 27 at 15:00 GMT, you will finally be able to get a device. As with all things OnePlus, there’s a bit of a catch as they will only take OnePlus One pre-orders through PayPal. That shouldn’t be an issue for most folks, but it will be for some who can’t use the service or just prefer not to. Don’t expect to fill your cart full of handsets either – you will be limited to two devices.
In addition to PayPal, that pre-order window is only good for 60-minutes. There has also been no word on when the pre-orders will actually ship out. It appears to be a first come, first served kind of thing, so you’ll want to act fast or you could end up waiting a while.
The OnePlus One is still a hot handset despite numerous setbacks and PR disasters. That said, since it was released several Chinese handsets have come close to their unlocked price point, so the handset doesn’t have quite the pop it did earlier this year.
Are you still interested in the OnePlus One or have you already settled on another handset?
