Clash of Clans is one of the most popular gaming apps and enjoyed by millions of mobile device users. If you’re an iPhone or Android device player of the game you’ll be interested to hear that a Clash of Clans app update has just arrived before Halloween. The update has arrived today on the App Store and Google Play so read on for more details.

We’ve reported on Clash of Clans on previous occasions and back in September we noted that some players were having problems with the app after it had just been updated. Fingers crossed then that the latest update doesn’t cause any further issues. If you’re a fan of Clash of Clans you’ll already know all about this epic combat strategy game, and be aware of just how popular it is.

So what’s new with this latest Android and iOS Clash of Clans update? The answer to that is quite a lot, and as it’s almost Halloween this is one spooky update! One of the new features is the Skeleton Trap where you can use Skeleton troops, and there are also some limited-time treats such as a 1-gem Spell Factory boost special and Harvest bonus Elixir from special Headstone obstacles.

The update also brings Clan Profile and Clan Search and several other improvements. You can find full details of the iOS app update at iTunes here or for the Android version at Google Play. The update brings Clash of Clans for Android and iOS to version 6.322.

Clash of Clans receives extremely high ratings in user reviews as seen on the Google Play description and on the App Store. However, we have just noted some comments that were made by users today regarding some issues with the update. On Google Play one user said, “New update sucks. After I was done updating it it just keeps going to the load screen and back to the screen you see at the start of the game. I would really love to play it I am a big fan of the game. So please fix it.”

Another player commented, “Fix update now!!! Doesn’t finish loading & goes back to Google play screen. Fix it now!” On the whole though plenty of people seem to be satisfied with the update and these are hopefully isolated incidents, but we’ll keep an eye on this and see how things pan out.
