Another smartphone in the Intex Aqua line has been introduced to India today. We have details of the Intex Aqua Amaze price and specs from the launch. Although specs are similar to the Aqua Star HD that recently released, the Amaze sports an octa-core processor rather than a quad-core.

We’ll start with the price of the Intex Aqua Amaze, and this new smartphone will set you back Rs. 10,690. It comes in black or light blue color options and has a nicely designed gift box for the festival season. Key specs include a 1.4GHz MediaTek MT6592M octa-core processor, a 5-inch IPS OGS display with resolution of 1280 x 720, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD to 32GB).

This 7.6mm thick, dual SIM phone has a 13-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and LED flash, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, and 2000 mAh battery, 3.5mm audio jack and FM radio. Connectivity is covered by 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS, and it runs the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system.

As well as the above specs there are also pre-loaded apps including Clean Master, Flipkart, Getit, Newshunt, OLX, Opera mini, Saavn, WeChat, and Zapak. At the launch Intex Technologies’ Mobile Business Head Sanjay Kumar Kalirona described the Intex Aqua Amaze as “truly a win-win for the smartphone savvy customers of today,” when referring to its features and price.
