Every now and then we like to show readers some of the best concept ideas for devices, and we think the one we’re sharing today will get plenty of mouths salivating. This is a Domino Nexus Marble phone design and has futuristic specs to say the least. We’d like to know what you think about this smartphone vision.
The Domino Nexus Marble comes from designer TimmyRay 1992 over on DeviantArt, and earlier this year we showed this designer’s Domino Nexus Zero concept, which was also impressive. The Nexus Marble is aimed at being a flagship smartphone and is packed full of features and some groundbreaking specs.
These include a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED 4K display, 2.8GHz AMD A10 quad-core APU, 8GB of RAM, and 250GB of internal storage, with dual microSD and SD card slot. It features a fingerprint reader integrated into the Home button, full sized USB port, microphone port, triple Dolby virtual surround rear speakers, and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop. On the reverse is a green LCD strip for displaying notifications and macro buttons.
Camera-wise we’re looking at something rather special as there’s an 80-megapixel rear camera that sports optional magnetic SLR lens adapters, 5 LED and 2 Xenon flashers, laser point and focus, as well as a secondary 14-megapixel post focus camera. On top of all that there’s also a 12-megapixel front-facing snapper.
The design is sophisticated, sleek, and stylish with an edge-to-edge display, and something we feel a lot of readers will find appealing, although it’s even larger than this year’s Google Nexus 6 by Motorola that is about to release.
