Remember the days when nobody said “selfie” and front-facing cameras didn’t even exist? Well, those days are long gone, and Alcatel has just jumped on the selfie bandwagon with the Alcatel OneTouch Flash.
The Alcatel OneTouch Flash specs show a smartphone geared towards the selfie snapper — we all know one. The cameras are obviously the stars of the show, and the rear snapper is listed at 13MP while the front-facing camera is a 5MP sensor. While we have seen several smartphones with larger front-facing cams, the sensor will definitely add some pop to your pics.
The display of the Alcatel OneTouch Flash is listed at 5.5-inches and is of the 720p variety. The device gets its horsepower from a 1.4GHz octa-core chip, and you’ll find 1GB of RAM and 8GB of expandable storage under the hood. The rest of the Alcatel OneTouch Flash specs include Bluetooth, WiFi, GPRS/EDGE, 3G and GPS. It sips its power from a removable 3,200mAh battery, and runs Android 4.4.
The Alcatel OneTouch Flash will be sold in Grey or White and is priced at Rs. 9,999. The handset can be yours from Flipkart starting tomorrow, November 20th and the company is running a Selfie promo to give users Rs. 1,000 off the device as well.
Is the front-facing camera important to you when choosing a new handset?
