Earlier this month Microsoft announced a new budget smartphone, the Lumia 535. This was the first handset to be unveiled with the Microsoft Lumia branding rather than the familiar Nokia name and the release was confirmed for this month. Now the phone has been launched for India and we have details of the Microsoft Dual SIM Lumia 535 India price with availability from November 28th.

The Lumia 535 Dual SIM is priced at Rs. 9,199 and it comes in colour options of black, cyan, bright green, dark grey, bright orange, or white. There are some launch offers available and one of these is for Vodafone customers who can get free 500MB 2G/3G date for two months. Other offers include Rs. 6,000 worth of Jabong shopping for 3 months, Flipkart eBooks worth Rs. 1,500 and more.

Specs of the dual SIM Lumia 535 include a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 200 quad-core processor, a 5-inch IPS display with resolution of 960 x 540, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of internal storage that’s expandable to 128GB via microSD. It has a 5-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and LED flash, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 1905 mAh battery.

Further specs include connectivity of 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, and Bluetooth 4.0, and the phone has FM radio and a 3.5mm audio jack. It runs the Windows Phone 8.1 operating system with Lumia Denim. Measurements are 140.2mm x 72.4mm x 8.8mm and it weighs 146g.
