Intex may not be the most well known brand in the smartphone world, but they’ve produced a lot of products in 2014. One of their latest devices will be popular among folks looking for long battery life, and it’s called the Intex Aqua Power.
The aptly named Intex Aqua Power specs show a huge 4,000mAh battery under the hood which is said to go from zero to full in around 2 ½ hours. The company also claims you’ll get around 600 hours of standby time, 30 hours on 2G, and 18 hours on 3G networks. It can even function as a “power bank” of sorts by allowing you to juice up other gadgets. It has a lot of power, and it also has a 5-inch IPS HD display.
As for the other type of power, the Intex Aqua Power will have an octa-core MediaTek chip clocked at 1.4GHz and coupled with the standard 1GB of RAM. You’ll get 8GB of expandable storage to work with as well. The rear camera on the Aqua Power is listed at 8MP while the front-facing camera is a 2MP sensor. The dual-SIM handset will run Android 4.4.2 KitKat, and connectivity options will include all the usual suspects like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
The Intex Aqua Power is fine choice for those looking for a smartphone with a large battery and decent specs. It is also reasonably priced at Rs. 8,444 in India, and the company is throwing in a free screen replacement for up to one year.
