December just rolled around, and smartphone manufacturers are making their last push before the end of the year. Micromax is no different, and today they announced the Micromax Canvas Xpress specs and price for India.

The Micromax Canvas Xpress specs prove it’s a mid-range device, but it’s a nice looking handset that utilizes a little metal in its build. The 4.5-inch display is of the FWVGA variety, and carries a resolution of 480 x 854. The processer is listed as a 1.3GHz quad-core SoC, and you’ll get the standard 1GB of RAM to go along with it.

Some of the Micromax Canvas Xpress specs are a bit more mysterious. The internal storage is expandable up to 32GB, but we’re still unsure of how much it will have stock. We know it’s a dual-SIM handset, and it will have a 1,950 battery,  5MP/0.3MP camera combo, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. You can expect it to come with KitKat 4.4 along with several software features like HotKnot and Smart Wake.

The Micromax Canvas Xpress price is listed at Rs. 6,999 in India and it looks to be an exclusive through Flipkart. It will be available in Classy Silver or Electric Blue, and Aircel subscribers will get up to 500MB of free data for 6-months with the Canvas Xpress. The phone will be available for purchase on December 8^th if you’re interested in picking one up.
