If you’re in India and waiting for the arrival of the Samsung Galaxy Core Prime there’s some good news for you today. There have been previous leaks about this phone becoming available soon, and now despite the phone still not being officially launched, the Samsung Galaxy Core Prime has been priced and has gone on sale in India.
This phone first leaked back in October, and at one point Flipkart listed it with a price of Rs. 8,499 but the product page was then removed. Earlier this month we informed readers that Mahesh Telecom had stated that the phone would launch at Rs. 9,599, but at that time the phone was still not up for sale.
That news all changes today as the Samsung Galaxy Core Prime (SM-G360) has appeared on two different retailer websites and it’s in stock right now. Amazon India has it for a price of Rs. 10,200 while eBay India is selling it a little cheaper at Rs. 9,380. We’ve already given details of specs but as a refresher we’ll recap the key points.
The Galaxy Core Prime has a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, a 4.5-inch LCD display with resolution of 800 x 480, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of internal storage that’s expandable via microSD to 64GB. It has a 5-megapixel rear camera, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, a 2000 mAh battery, and it runs the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system. This is a dual SIM smartphone and connectivity includes HSPA+, WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS.
