Intex is a prolific manufacturer of smartphones for the market in India and today there’s yet another arrival. We have news on the Intex Aqua Xtreme launch price and specs, and this handset will be available across India in retail stores and hypermarkets.

This is a very sleek-looking device as it’s just 6.9mm thick and a very attractive handset in our opinion. Specs of the Intex Aqua Xtreme include a 1.7GHz MediaTek MT6592 octa-core processor, a 5-inch IPS display with resolution of 1280 x 720 and featuring scratch resistant Dragon Trail Glass, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage that’s expandable via microSD.

Further specs include a 13-megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash, a 5-megapixel front-facing snapper, and 2000 mAh battery. It’s a dual SIM smartphone that runs the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system that will be upgradable at some point to Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Connectivity is catered for with support for 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and USB OTG, and the phone also has FM radio and a 3.5mm audio jack. The price of the Intex Aqua Xtreme is Rs. 11,490, and it comes in black, grey or red colour choices.

Keeping in mind the cluttered market of feature rich phones, Aqua Xtreme is purely pragmatic in nature. With the launch of Xtreme, we intend to provide high-end features to users at a remarkable price to mass market.”
