Nobody likes carrying around a brick in their pocket when their battery goes dead, and while there a lot of portable charging options available, a big battery is your best bet. If you long for a device with a large juice box, the Micromax Canvas Hue may be the solution for you. The Micromax Canvas Hue specs and price have just been announced for India, and we’re going to take a quick look at what it brings to the table.
The Micromax Canvas Hue specs show a large 3,000mAh battery with “super power saving” mode which supposedly gives you 30-days worth of juice on standby. That is certainly impressive, but we have covered phones with much larger batteries like the Lenovo P90 and the Intex Aqua Power.
Battery size aside, the Micromax Canvas Hue has a 5-inch display that’s covered in Gorilla Glass 3 with a resolution of 1,280 x 720. The processor is listed as a quad-core 1.3GHz chip, and you’ll also find 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage under the hood. The rest of the Micromax Canvas Hue specs include an 8MP/2MP camera combo, Bluetooth, WiFi, 3G, an FM Radio and GPS. The dual-SIM device will run Andorid 4.4 straight out of the box with an OTA Android 5.0 update in the works as well.
The Micromax Canvas Hue price is listed at Rs. 10,999 and it is expected to arrive this Friday in India. You’ll be able to pick one up in White or Gold when they arrive, and they should be available for purchase online and in retail shops throughout the country.
What do you think about the Micromax Canvas Hue price and specs compared to other big-battery devices?
