Intex is a popular brand in India, and the company has dozens of smartphones in their Aqua series. We took a look at the Intex Aqua Eco and Y3 last month, and now we’re going to see what the Intex Aqua Desire brings to the table.

Just like the majority of the devices that came before it, the Intex Aqua Desire is a midrange handset and it will sport a 4.7-inch FWVGA display. A 1.2GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6572 will power the device, and you’ll find 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage under the hood. As you’d expect, it has a microSD card so you can kick it up to 32GB if the space gets tight.

The Intex Aqua Desire has a 8MP camera on its backside, and a 2MP sensor will take care of your selfies. You won’t get 4G with the Aqua Desire, but the dual-SIM smartphone has WiFi, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, and Bluetooth. It also has a 1,700mAh battery that’s said to provide around 6 hours of talk time. The Intex Aqua Desire will run Android 4.4.2 out of the box.

The Intex Aqua Desire will be available in Grey, White and Blue when it lands in India, but no release date has been set at this time. The official Intex Aqua Desire price is listed at Rs. 5,560 on the company’s website, so we should hear something official soon.
