Intex keeps on churning out new smartphones and two more have now appeared listed. The Intex Aqua HD 5.0 is available now and the Intex Aqua Y2 1GB is coming soon, and both are affordably priced handsets. Read on for Intex Aqua HD 5.0 and Aqua Y2 1GB specs and price reveals.
Beginning with the Intex Aqua HD 5.0 this one is on sale at Flipkart now and is priced at Rs. 6,999. Specs are similar to those of the Aqua Star HD that went on sale last year. It has a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6582V/X quad-core processor, a 5-inch IPS OGS display with resolution of 1280 x 720, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of internal storage, expandable to 32GB via microSD. There’s a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
Further specs include a 2300 mAh battery, and it runs the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system. The dual SIM handset has connectivity options including 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS, and it also has FM radio and a 3.5mm audio jack. The phones measures 68.2mm x 134mm x 9.9mm and it comes in Golden Black or Golden Blue color choices.
Next up is the Intex Aqua Y2 1GB, a variant of the Aqua Y2. This one is now listed on the company’s website with a price of Rs. 5,190. It’s powered by a 1.2GHz Spreadtrum SC7731 quad-core processor, has a 4-inch IPS display with resolution of 800 x 480, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of internal storage, again expandable to 32GB. Camera-wise you’re looking at an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and a 2-megapixel front-facing unit.
Connectivity is catered for with 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS and it has a 1400 mAh battery. This one also runs Android 4.4 and is a dual SIM device with FM radio and 3.5mm audio jack. It measures 124mm x 64.5mm x 9.0mm and comes in black, grey or white color options, and it should be available for sale before too much longer.
