Micromax is such a prolific smartphone manufacturer that it can be difficult to keep up with the amount of devices being churned out by the company for India. Now another has just been launched and it’s called the Micromax Canvas Spark Q380, a very affordable budget handset joining the many others in the Canvas range. It will be available from next week and we have info on the first flash sale date and price.

Let’s get to the price before we move on to specs for this device. The Canvas Spark is priced at Rs. 4,999, suitable for plenty of pockets, and it will be available in black or white color choices. It will be sold exclusively by Snapdeal and there will be a flash sale on April 29th. Interested buyers will be able to register for the sale from 12pm tomorrow.

The Canvas Spark has specs that include a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, and a 4.7-inch qHD display with resolution of 960 x 540 and featuring Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It has 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage that can be expanded via microSD to 32GB, an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 2-megapixel front-facing snapper.

The Spark Q380 is a dual SIM handset with a 2000 mAh battery and it runs the Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system. Connectivity includes 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS, and it has FM radio and a 3.5mm audio jack. The price of this new Micromax smartphone will make it attractive enough to plenty of buyers, although there is a multitude of very affordable handsets available right now.
