LG G Stylo phone launches with built-in stylus pen
Major smartphone manufacturer LG has a big following and many are waiting to see the reveal of the LG G4 flagship later this month. However, another new device from the company has now been made official, which is more of a mid-range handset. The LG G Stylo has just launched and it has a built-in stylus pen.
Beginning with the specs the G Stylo has a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor, Adreno 306 graphics, and a 5.7-inch IPS in-cell touch display with HD resolution of 1280 x 720. It has 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage that can be expanded by microSD, a 3000 mAh battery, and runs the Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system.
Camera capabilities include an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing unit, and connectivity options include 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and NFC. The dimensions of the phone are 154.3mm x 79.2mm x 9.6mm and it weighs 163g.
The G Stylo features a Q Memo Plus widget that enables the use of the stylus pen to add memos directly from the home screen. The phone follows on from the LG G3 Stylus that arrived last year and has just been announced for South Korea. It will also release for other global markets beginning in May.
In its home country it will be sold from April 24 by Korean operator KT at a price of 400,000 Korean Won. That equates to around $370, Rs. 23,300, €345 or £248, although pricing often varies according to market. The handset comes in titanium or white color options. Does the LG G Stylo sound like a phone that you might be interested in when it releases to further regions?
