Remember how much time we spent with those Galaxy S6 rumors? Well, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is going to make those look tame. We’ve seen a number of big rumors arise over the past few weeks, and today we’re getting another dose involving some new Samsung Galaxy Note 5 features.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is set to be Sammy’s finest phablet yet, and while the design is still up in the air, we have a good idea of what to expect from the handset. A few days ago, we heard that the cool S Pen that comes with the Note may have an auto-eject feature, and now we are getting word on the device’s charging port.
USB Type-C ports are something you’ve probably been hearing more about, and for good reason. This will provide greater data speeds when you’re transferring files, and they are reversible to boot which means you can’t plug them in upside down. That new port will also allow for faster charging times, and that’s one Samsung Galaxy Note 5 feature we can all get behind.
We have months of speculation ahead considering the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 release won’t come until the fall, so be prepared for more rumors in the weeks ahead. As far as this one is concerned, it’s very likely Samsung would opt for the Type-C port as other manufacturers are going that route. While it’s a small thing, it’s important and will be a welcome Samsung Galaxy Note 5 feature if the rumors pan out.
