We go through loads of smartphones specifications each week, and many pass through benchmark listings. That’s the case with the Sony E5663 specs as the device has just gotten benchmarked over on GFXBench.
There’s a smartphone size for everyone these days, whether you want a large phablet or pint-sized handset. The Sony E5663 specs show us the latter as the benchmarks show a 4.6-inch panel with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080. The Xperia Z3 Compact had the same size panel, but with a resolution of 720p, so we could be getting our first glimpse of the Xperia Z4 compact or another device altogether.
The rest of the Sony E5663 specs are nothing to scoff at thanks to a 1.9GHz MediaTek MT6795, 3GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage. The rear snapper is listed as a 21MP Sony sensor while the front-facing camera is a surprisingly large 13MP. Throw in a variety of sensors, connectivity options, and Android 5.0 and you’ve just met the Sony E5663.
It remains to be seen what the official moniker of the Sony E5663 will be when it launches, but it’s believed to be a model headed for India as part of Sony’s 2015 lineup. Stay tuned, and we’ll keep you in the loop as we learn more about the upcoming Sony E5663 release.
