The Xiaomi Mi 4i launched for India back in April and was being sold exclusively through Flipkart. This was via the flash sales system for a price of Rs. 12,999, and then in late May it was available for two days on open sale. News just in is that the Xiaomi Mi 4i in India is on open sale again and that this will continue. Further news is that more retailers will be offering the phone.

The Mi 4i has plenty to offer for the money, so news that it will be available from now today through open sale will be good news to many buyers. Xiaomi announced the news on social media, confirming that as well as Mi.com and Flipkart, the phone will also be sold by Snapdeal and Amazon.

This applies to the Dark Grey and White color choices and it has the same price tag of Rs. 12,999. The phone is already listed for open sale on Flipkart who are also offering up to Rs. 5,000 for exchanges bringing the price down to a potential Rs. 7,999. This is a nice looking handset with a polycarbonate build and soft touch matte finish.

Xiaomi Mi 4i specs include a Snapdragon 615 64-bit octa-core processor, Adreno 405 graphics, and a 5-inch display with Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080. The dual SIM handset features 4G LTE connectivity and has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage (non-exandable). There’s a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone flash, a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter, and 3120 mAh battery with quick charging feature. The phone runs the Android 5.0 Lollipop-based MIUI 6.
