The Lenovo K3 Note is a smash hit right now in some markets, and flash sales in India are selling out of units within seconds. Many people are trying to get hold of it but if you’re still considering whether to buy or not, you might want to consider how it copes as far as battery life is concerned. Today we have details from recent testing that shows the Lenovo K3 Note battery life compared with numerous other handsets.
If you’re a heavy user of your smartphone this is an important aspect to think about. The K3 Note has a removable 3000 mAh battery that sounds well-equipped to juice up its 1.7GHz octa-core processor, Mali-T760MP2 graphics, 5.5-inch display with Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080, and 2GB of RAM. So how the Lenovo K3 Note battery life fare?
Extensive testing on the Lenovo K3 Note has been conducted by Fone Arena, and this involves four categories, Talk Time, 3G Browsing, WiFi Browsing, and Video Playback. For each of these aspects the results of the K3 Note are shown on tables alongside other smartphones. Just some of these are the Lenovo A7000, HTC Desire 820, and Sony Xperia M4 Aqua.
In the Talk Time category the Lenovo K3 Note sits around halfway down the table with a time of 25 hours, as shown in the image below. Tied in top place by comparison are the Lenovo A7000 and Meizu M2 Note on 33 hours and 19 minutes, while languishing at the bottom of the chart is the Lenovo Vibe X2 on just 12 hours and 30 seconds.
For 3G Browsing the K3 Note gets a disappointing result with a time of 3 hours and 42 minutes, the same as for the Gionee Elife S5.1. That puts it near the bottom of the table with just the HTC Desire 820 below it on 2 hours and 47 minutes. In joint position at the top are the Lenovo A7000 and Xiaomi Mi 4i on a time of 5 hours exactly.
Moving on to WiFi Browsing, again the Lenovo K3 Note sits roughly in the middle of the table with a time of 5 hours and 33 minutes. Top spot this time is taken by the Xiaomi M2 Note on 6 hours and 39 minutes. The HTC Desire 820 is in the last position again, this time on 3 hours and 12 minutes (see image below).
The final category is Video Playback and the K3 Note is in the lower half of the chart with a time of 8 hours and 19 minutes. In bottom position is the Gionee Elife S5.1 with 6 hours and 15 minutes. The highest place this time is another draw, with both the Coolpad Dazen X7 and Xiaomi Mi 4i achieving a time of 11 hours and 7 minutes.
